How can you find your path?

How can you find your path through all this diversity without being overwhelmed by the possibilities?

Gaia is so abundant. Will you find your path? Will you carve your own path through the forest of possibilities? Will you look forward and take a step towards what you really want? What do you really care about?

And reorder your life around that?

What is your purpose? Hold your existential question for a moment. Not all unresolved questions, just the one that matters the most. Here and now.

This is an initiatory garden.

In former times, Japanese masters created these gardens to impress other empires before war. The magnificent gardens were intended to demonstrate power, and sometimes negotiations would ensue, or even wars would be avoided. Sometimes, however, they could not find a quiet place to negotiate, and war would ensue.

What is your next step? In other words, what are you struggling with right now? The question you are asking yourself is your initiation. What is your next step? Find it before you are overwhelmed by possibilities.

Sometimes it will seem chaotic and you'll feel as though you're losing yourself. But what if that's all part of the process? Finding your stepping stones and currents again along the way, by practicing and reconnecting Being with Doing.

A foot on the ground, a meshwork of questions

Instead of looking up towards where you want to go, it would be more preferable to look at your next step.

Sometimes you can't even place a stone somewhere. This is an Archan Initiatory garden. Your life is where you put your foot down.

How can you get to know your own culture? How can you connect to your Source and be present in all five bodies? What is the process for being real and authentic, sharing what you love and hate, processing your losses and moving forward? You will then meet another team, and another, and another, and garden as much as you can. Towards another path, another way.

There is no path

It’s normal not to find your path. Your path is carved by your feet. It’s forged by your footsteps. Your path is already your past. There is no past or future if you live in the present moment.

Your destiny is shaped by your choices. So be aware of your choices and of the person who makes them. Is it your box? You have already set up parameters, survival strategies, habits and preferences. Or is it your gremlin? (A life force that might trick or fool you with its infinite possibilities). Or your child ego state? (beliefs and needs)? Or is it the nostalgia or ‘saudade1’ you have for something that is blocking your impulses for the new?

Or is it your capacity to truly grasp what you want?

Gardening the Now

So, what about making a decision? What about making a clear decision about what you want and what you care about? This is the time.

Forever? Maybe not.

Maybe you’ll find a team. Maybe you’ll create that team by relentlessly expressing what you want.

Even if you can’t get it first-hand. Perhaps even more so if you can’t get it first hand. Like the roots of a wild plant growing in almost no soil.

They make roots kilometres below and grow leaves patiently, sowing new seeds and making new seedlings in the village, growing quietly. This is how a plant grows, and also how a human being grows. Step by step.

Courage by courage. Sometimes we would love to, but it would feel like abandoning something. There will be a lot of grief about not finding the thing.

But it’s not about finding the path. It’s all about your journey. It’s about the steps you take.

When you look back, you’ll realise that the only thing you can do is garden in the present moment. Gardening the now. Finding your seed, your Pearl, in the present moment.

Opening your pearl again and again in the present moment. When you review, look into the past to better understand or integrate the path you will see.

But you will also realize that despair is a fantasy too. So have hope. It’s just on the other side of the coin that you flip.

Stop flipping the coin between despair and hope. What you will find is what is happening now and how you are feeling. The next step is to identify what is really nourishing you.

How do you move towards your purpose, and how does your purpose move you? Cultivate your questions, your real, deep questions.

The path is the past.

Evolving. Now there’s a word that if pondered for a moment, should make your hair stand on end and fill you with wonder.

Earth formed around 4.5 billion years ago. If all time since then was put on a 24 hour clock, Photosynthesis and oxygen came 2.5 billion years ago ~10:00 am, and Homo Sapiens appeared around 300,000 years ago, at 11:59:56 pm - four seconds before midnight, on the first day of the evolution of planet earth, nature expressed herself in the form of Homo Sapiens.

At this point in our complex four second experiment, we have this thing called human civilisation, where power is given away to politicians. Politicians who are a tiny fraction of the world’s population, yet wield outsized decision-making power and influence, particularly in setting the narratives around nature vs. economy. When asked about nature, they make statements like this:

“Brazil should not have to sacrifice its economy for the sake of preserving the Amazon.”

“Fast-tracking major infrastructure projects will boost our economy and jobs, even if it means some environmental concerns.”

“Development is essential, and we can’t let environmental concerns completely halt our progress.”

“We are not going to save the planet by bankrupting the British people.”
UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak (2023)

The uninspected assumptions we grew up with were given to us by our parents and teachers, who in turn got these assumptions from their big people when they were small. One of these assumptions is that money is of supreme importance, even more important than nature.

We cite evidence through stories and one-liners, which perpetuate this ‘self-evident truth’. We swim in a money economy and can’t imagine anything else.

Nature is a resource and resources are to be used.

You can’t stop progress.

Growth is good.

We can’t be held hostage by environmental concerns.

These phrases normalise extraction, control, and pricing of nature, hiding our dependence on healthy living systems for water, food, air, and stable climate.

However, with a little reflection it should be clear that no nature means no life. On the other hand, no money might mean disruption of trade, but it doesn’t mean the end of life.

Money is a human construct, something we as humans created with our left-brained, logical thinking. It was developed as a tool for facilitating trade, and trade was a means for getting more of the things the inventors of money wanted. Unfortunately money turns out to support the extractive system which has been raping nature, taking the abundance she has.

Human beings with a scarcity mindset created money, then sought to get rich by extracting from nature. Value became associated with dead whales, piles of trees, shiploads of fish.

Yes, let that sink in.

Give space for your sadness - yes!

Your fear - yes!

Your anger - yes!

If the outcome of our extractive economy means that fresh water and nourishing food become hard to find, will money seem so relevant?

It took 23 hours 59 minutes and 56 seconds of the 24 hour evolutionary clock, to put all the pieces together and create Homo Sapiens.

When we rediscover nature as kin, not as commodity, perhaps we can find ways to have money incentivise the regeneration of the nature we are part of and depend upon.

My declaration to Gaïa

Dear Gaïa,
I see Gaïa as a meshwork - an emulative network - with Being shifting they relationship to what they trully are and who they are relating to Gaïa.

I smell a garden of abundance with flowers for people to have momentums. 'What if I could reconnect in just one minute to the Earth?'

I touch the rocks and the rivers, aliveness is a stream of consciousness that each of us can speak, can feel in 5mn speaking from the unknown, shaking ourselves up and having moment to moment conversations, people initiating a global movement for that

I hear a sound of connection that comes from the forest, like the leaves that impulse a new movement for Beings to come together, breathe, stop for one hour and do nothing

I taste the sand as if each of us is part of the lifeform of Gaïa, the sand has this taste

What I hold space for :

I hold space for Becoming a Resource for Gaïa, for now a training designed for men at the edge of Inner and Outer Permaculture.
Inner Permaculture: a practicology to reconnect to Earth, ground a be radically present moment to moment.
Outer Permaculture: rooted in the last one, and finding ist balance between the two to create abundance, creativity, new living systems where humans and nature strive and do not only survive.

This training originally set for men, will probably evolve towards different proposals.

I am also holding space for the Heart Gym Gameworld that I can see it highly connected to Archan Permaculture (how can someone feel the Earth if its cannot connect to one’s feelings).

Last but not least, I hold space for Psycho-Emotional Transformative Processes and I hold space for the global village of transformation of Possibility Management.
I facilitate international Summer Camps in the french Pyrenees for people to unfold their creative potential, integrate new tools and possibilities in nature, empower and impulse new cooperations.

What I wish for, what is my Purpose?

I take a stand to create a Gameworld ‘Earth Gym’ that will be a place to deepen our connection to Earth, grounding, presence and sense of teamwork with Aliveness and all living Beings.

My purpose is to create bridges to as many doors as possible to facilitate the openness for new cultures. I want to be a facilitator to point the Bridge to next Culture. I am doing it with Possibility Teams, through Social Permaculture. I am interviewing 20 people around the world that have a higher commitment to regenerate the Earth.

We each have a part to play.

Growing Radicles is the umbrella for my piece of this Archan Permaculture gameworld. It exists to weave community with landscapes, through learning journeys that inspire land stewards to take their place in nature - as nature, so that flourishing ecosystems take root and thrive across the planet, bringing more life.

I hope that one day, Permaculture will also be recognized as an evolution in thoughtware — transforming how we relate to reality, the universe, plants, animals, and the care of our planet, as true Planetary Gardeners would.

Despite dedicating an entire day to Earth Care — making it a prioritized songline in last year’s Dragon Dreaming organization — we struggled to find time for individual projects during the Summer Camp I describe in this article. Yet, the projects presented here offer a glimpse into what has been unfolding.

To me, this is a celebration of Earth Care, People Care, and Care for Possibilities (also known as Fair Share). If self-observation is a strong theme in this article — aligning with David Holmgren’s first Permaculture principle, Observe and Interact — then his second principle, Catch and Store Energy, is reflected in the many projects that emerged. The process of coming together could be seen as an expression of principle eight, Integrate Rather Than Segregate, as we welcomed people from diverse social backgrounds, using a sliding-scale payment approach for participation.

What other bridges do you see between Inner and Outer Permaculture?

I don’t believe that biology — the primary science that shaped the foundations of Permaculture as envisioned by David Holmgren and Bill Mollison — is sufficient on its own to grasp the vast universe of possibilities that arise within the human soul.

A materialist might say these arise in the human brain. I, however, prefer to consider non-material value as another point of reference — therefore, I will use the term Being.

To give substance to our projects, we must embody them and allow ourselves to take steps into the unknown. As we create our story along the way, we write our destiny on water. It takes extraordinary clarity to stay present and maintain the delicate balance between nothingness and creation — without everything collapsing like a house of cards.

Who decides what is valuable — you or the market? The norms of a society driven by material profit, or that vulnerable heart that knows another world is possible?

With no ready-made solutions, we are left with our ultimate responsibility: to choose with our gut rather than our mind — so often filled with “things to do” rather than “willingness to be”.

Without preconceived ideas, what remains is our Being — our ability to exist and to assert, with clarity, what we no longer want and what we do want. What remains is our presence, expressing a deep desire to connect.

How easy is it to stay on course? Alone, it’s nearly impossible. With others, it becomes more likely — provided we trust each other.

The judgments and injunctions we internalized at school or home reflect a rigid framework that later reproduces itself at work, in rules, laws, and protocols — becoming a deadening routine of nonsense. How can we free ourselves from this without falling into its opposite extreme — sabotage, procrastination, chaos, or directionlessness?

We need to reorganize. From the inside.

Between rigid structure and self-sabotage, there is little chance of bringing to life truly innovative, socially responsible projects that honor the living world. We need to build the rudder that will keep us on course and create a culture where injunctions, judgments, and subtle forms of violence are quieted — making room for true presence.

We need to reorganize. From within. We need to reclaim our power from within.

A cultural off-piste

It was a challenge to meet without a pre-set program — to create a cultural off-trail experience where the present moment and our deepest dreams were honored. But we did not abandon our wild idea of gathering without knowing in advance what we would do, working for life with what was alive within us. In short, our focus was on trusting ourselves, trusting others, and trusting human potential in the present moment.

The human element was more important than the program. The ergonomics of the present moment outweighed the fear of making mistakes. The worst outcome would have been to make no mistakes at all.

During the project residency in the Pyrenees, we explored the Dragon Dreaming methodology and philosophy, as well as the transformative practice of Possibility Management.

With a sublime view to uplift our hearts, we used a dream circle practice to weave our shared aspirations together. The dream of one person nourished the dream of another. The collective dream of leaving home, in turn, fed individual dreams.

This gave rise to a raft of projects, including:

• Emotional Gastronomy, a living theater on the four feelings, by Gabriel Lechemin

• A “Curious Café” (or Permaludique), presented in a children’s hut, by Ludivine Thiburs and Gabriel Lechemin

• A gesticulated conference on Dragon Dreaming, by Julien Berlusconi

• A workshop on coded sign language, led by Gaëlle Mory

• A presentation of the eco-village “Commune Ô Terre,” by Nadia

• A presentation of “Mowatouatounous,” an eco-region project led by Paloma Alvarez

And so it happened…

Dawn was breaking over the Mélilot gardens, overlooking the Pyrenees mountains. It was the eve of Summer Camp, and signage had just been installed to guide new arrivals. The groundwork was laid for the next seven days of co-creating a shared culture — like signposts within ourselves.

What is a proposal? What is a clear proposal? What does consent mean in decision-making? In short… what is the raison d’être of human language (which, incidentally, I never learned at school)? These questions became central discussions.

For the first two and a half days, our primary focus was our reason for gathering, our way of communicating, and how we would make decisions. After negotiation and the establishment of rotating facilitation roles, we found a common pace of learning and sharing.

A necessary slowing down, so that we could truly evolve together.

Over the next four and a half days, we immersed ourselves in the Dragon Dreaming project methodology and facilitated practical workshops using Possibility Management’s tools for interaction.

Dragon Dreaming: Methodology and Philosophy

The Dragon Dreaming approach was fully presented and put into practice, including:

• Dragon Dance: Identifying unconscious energies that might sabotage us if left unchecked

• Karrabirdt: Non-linear task planning

• Dream Circle: Transforming individual dreams into shared visions for creative collaboration

• Charismatic Communication: Tools for announcing and inviting participation in residency activities

The Experiential Practice of Possibility Management

We engaged in experiential practices such as:

Stating what we do and do not want

A workshop on the four feelings: “I’m angry because…,” “I’m scared because…,” “I’m sad because…,” and “I’m happy because…”

A deep listening workshop to develop clearer communication and emotional intelligence (Completion Loops)

In spite of the short time we had to honor the Earth, carry out our individual projects, organize our joint residency outing, and learn from Dragon Dreaming and Possibility Management, the impossible was achieved: we set up a residency outing and presented our projects!An unusual residency outing, with an array of projects!

Completed spoken French workshop

Starting from the ‘Dancing Room’, Gaëlle’s workshop on completed spoken sign language occurred in legendary fashion: “As the doors were closed in the room, I was able to tell someone who entered not to disturb the space and to leave. Before this event, it would have been inconceivable for me to say that to someone in such a determined and frank manner. I’ve learned to honor my space and my boundaries.”

Assert Yourself! Workshop on Expressing What I Want

Gabriel’s workshop on assertiveness was held under the ‘Dream Tree.’ In this workshop, participants took turns expressing what they didn’t want using their four feelings (fear, anger, sadness, joy) and then what they did want. Shouts, cries, and bursts of laughter punctuated the lively exchanges.

“I didn’t think it could be so intense to say what I want and don’t want,” said one participant.

The Café Curieux (Curious Cafe)

Then we headed back up to the ‘Cabane des Enfants’, where Ludivine and Gabriel had set up the ‘Café Curieux’, with Gabriel’s energetic paintings and the ‘What does potatoes feel?’ game, which almost held up the whole troupe because the players didn’t want to stop.

A genuine, intimate card game designed to stimulate dialogue and cooperation within a team, family, or company, the “What Do Potatoes Feel?” card game has now reached its prototype stage, waiting to be printed and distributed in cafés across France — and perhaps beyond.

Dance of the Dragons

Ludivine led the ‘Dance of the Dragons’ and realized that this space didn’t need music; the dance and music were already present within the people themselves.

“For me, it’s a workshop that invites you to meet your shadows intimately and in the physical body. That’s where the magic lies, because the physical body does not deceive. Then there’s the act of putting oneself in the skin of one’s ‘dragon,’ which allows us to change our identity. It’s about integrating a hidden part of ourselves. It’s revealing.”

Since then, Ludivine has led a number of workshops, such as ‘Creative Communication,’ which enables everyone to develop their own personal way of communicating about their business.

Creative nap

Before resuming the afternoon, a creative nap was proposed to let emerge any project, dream or desire to do or not to do something during this time of relaxation.

Gesticulated Dragon Dreaming Conference

On our way to the ‘Parley Tree’ we met Julien, who had prepared for his first international Gesticulated Conference on Dragon Dreaming.

What is a dragon?

Julien had several.

Perfecto, which prevents him from taking action until it’s ‘completely ready’ (which is to say, if he listened to him, he wouldn’t take action), and Timidus, which prevents him from expressing himself.

“What’s the right recipe for a successful project?”

Julien explained Dragon Dreaming with his special recipe for 4 quarters (‘Quatre quarts’). Was it his love of French Brittany that made him talk like that? I’m not sure. In any case, his sense of humor soon had us laughing and celebrating our disappointments as entrepreneurs and cooperators.

“What feeds enthusiasm for a project, as a collective?”

Perhaps it’s the ability to dream, and not only that, but simply celebrating the milestones we’ve achieved helps us to see things more clearly and avoid the ‘hamster wheel’ phenomenon of acting while losing sight of the project’s substance, its heart, its foundations. There’s a practice that makes this possible: it’s called Dragon Dreaming.

Emotional Gastronomy

Then it was my turn to present the premiere of “Emotional Gastronomy”: a live, improvised show in the moment.

A performance improvised with your daily moods, full of cold sweat, clammy hands, and a dry throat.

What are your emotions made of? How do you savor them? What cutlery do you use in your culture to taste them?

Do you like them hot or cold, raw or cooked? To be taken with a pair of tongs or scooped up with a spoon? Sprinkled with anxiety or mixed with perplexity? I’m a bit of all that — and you?

After exchanging emotions, we head to the terrace to listen to a presentation of Paloma’s eco-region project.

“On the path to realizing this project, both the preparation and the actual experience of the summer camp were obvious milestones. I find that both Dragon Dreaming and Possibility Management approaches are beautiful paths to take to support us in the emergence of our new cultures, those that take care; care of Self, care of Others, care of the Whole. The summer camp gave me the opportunity to taste and explore these paths by meeting other dreamers. To share our impulses, our colors, our treasures, to feel the possible synergies… All the while offering us this space-time to work on each of our dreams! The summer camp was very rich, very nourishing on many levels, all in the Pyrenees with a magical view… Golden Nugget!”

Commune Ô Terre

A short detour and Nadia Banzante’s ‘Commune ô Terre’ project is presented.

Inspired by her many visits to communities, Nadia paints a portrait of a political space created by and for citizens.

Maude’s coaching

Maude also spoke to us about her coaching and accompaniment practice in the midst of flowers and fields.

What makes accompaniment special?

Maude has her own way of answering that question, by reconnecting us to what’s really important to us in the present moment.

The closing celebration

We were all able to present our projects to a dozen people who had come for the occasion.

Then the evening was built around a shared celebration: Occitan songs, a campfire, a shared meal and thanks to the Earth.

What happens when you let the living in you do its thing: your feelings in the present moment? What emerges is a tenfold capacity for action, without judgments, without complexes, authentic and sustainable for the Earth.

I feel joy that Jeffrey Shub expressed something about feelings not as a personnal matter, rather as a direct expression of Earth herself. It is a direct link to the recording following.

Jeffrey’s words ere inviting us to dig deeper and wider than workshops for personnal development.

I’ve been realizing lately, after attending/facilitating many online spaces each week for several years, that there’s a big meme going around the healing world, that I’ve also participated in sharing, and that is not working. It is important to bring this meme forth because it is resonating broadly, especially on social media, giving the illusion of progress, while being another form of survival strategy that prevents evolution from happening.

The meme is: ‘say what you feel’

It is one of the most popular narratives among influencers. It has taken the healing world by storm.

“It is healing to say what you feel. It will set you free.”

I couldn’t venture to count how many times I’ve asked people to name the feeling and to say what it’s about without doing anything more about it. “Good work”, I’d say, “you’re doing really great”.

I’ve discovered, painfully, that it’s not true. Saying what you feel is another survival strategy. When you say what you feel it is a way of staying separate from the feeling that is trying to do its work on you. It is how you let it blow by without actually inhabiting the territory of necessity.

It is even more pernicious because saying what you feel provides the illusion of progress. It seems like something is working. You are getting more in touch with your emotional body. And maybe it is a step in the direction of liberation, but it’s not liberation.

Here’s why: Your feelings aren’t yours.

I will unfold this slowly..

Some people use alcohol, some use work, some swear by meditation, yoga, weed, therapy, exercising, psychedelics, ecstatic dance, sex; there any number of strategies to rid yourself of the cultural burden of having to face directly into the instructions provided by the four kinds of discomfort you feel each day — anger, fear, sadness, and joy. (The list above is a log of all the numbing strategies I’ve tried)

It would seem that when you talk about your feelings, you are facing into them. However, what is really happening is that your mouth is acting like a blowoff valve. You talked about it, so now you are absolved of the responsibility to do anything about them. I’ve tried this one, too.

There is a different way, a way to allow yourself to be guided by the natural forces of these feelings — to let go of the programs that filter the information to try to make it fit into the box you’ve made for yourself — to turn up the volume on the energy and information — to be the open channel — put your empty vessel into the proverbial river.

Your feelings aren’t yours, actually. Feelings are forces of nature. That means their source is somewhere beyond your physical body. This is why when one person in a healing circle starts to speak from their heart, everyone looks in amazement thinking to themselves, “I’ve been feeling the exact same thing!”

It is because these forces come from Gaia. For those who don’t have the distinction of Gaia, I’ll take a shot at delivering it.

Just like the name for the collection of all my parts is Jeffrey, Gaia is a name used to describe the expression of all the parts that make up the organism of planet Earth. A human is made up of atoms, cells, creatures, bodies, entities, and electromagnetic fields. The Earth is made up of atoms, creatures, elements, entities, and an electromagnetic field.

In science class you learned that human cells have:

• self-regulated functions,

• communication with adjacent cells,

• and they receive information from beyond by way of nerves, hormones, foreign cells like bacteria, viruses, and fungi, and energetic fields created by the heart and brain.

Similarly, as a human you have:

• your self-regulated internal processes,

• communication within a community of nearby humans, plants and animals,

• and you receive information from beyond that flows through you, just like light flows through a prism.

Gaia has no mouth to create words, she has you for that.

The prism of you was shaped to create beautiful rainbows of expressions of the four feelings of anger, sadness, fear, and joy. Each prism is unique in the way it refracts the same colors of light.

What an insanely beautiful world it would be if all humans walked around in their full blown prismness.

But being a prism in a society that prefers if everyone is an equally sized piece of coal creates a bit of a problem for a developing human. So, your prism gets more and more clouded as you grow up because you were raised in a world that made it unsafe to be the expression of those feelings. When you were a crying baby, they did everything they could to make it stop. When adults felt things around you, they held it all in until they couldn’t anymore. Maybe you even saw ‘conscious adults’ going to therapy to talk about their feelings without actually doing anything with them.

I do see people talking about how bad things have gotten on this Earth, how life and diversity and beauty on Earth is being destroyed. I don’t see proportionate change happening from that talk. I do see small waves of people leaving their corporate jobs in search of something different. I don’t see corporations dismantling themselves. I don’t see governments cutting ties with corporations. I don’t see the billionaires at Davos giving up their private jets. I don’t see the world banks turning their attention away from war and towards reforesting.

And I’m just sick of it. I can’t stand to see another heart begging to scream, to cry, to yell or to explode in uncontrollable laughter until new possibilities explode into their being with a grip so strong that it takes hold.

Gaia is asking for a radical shift. She is asking for all modern-culture humans to face into the grief, the fear, and the abandonment that have turned us all into creatures who want to destroy the organism from which we came and of which we are part.

This is a uniquely human issue. No other species on Earth does this because no other species has the skill of changing their perspective through the stories they tell themselves.

And this is not an every-human issue. There are humans out there who are living in balance. Although they are treated as primitive or less evolved, they are actually a subset of the human creatures whose stories have fostered cultures that did not stray off into a territory where taking more than absolutely necessary became acceptable — where reciprocity was not lost — where treating other creatures with respect was passed down the generational lines.

The battle between the ‘wild’ people and the modern-culture people is the same battle going on inside of you. It’s the battle between the wild prism that refracts the light of consciousness (of the feelings) and the appropriate, polite, modest, scared, little thinking mind that has chosen its own safety over that of the whole, of Gaia, of life!

So, you can continue to say you feel angry without doing anything, or you can roll up your sleeves and go do what the anger is telling you to do. Go find a Rage Club or a Fear Club or a Heart Gym. Give up the show, let it all fall apart, and start over from the age where you let that prism turn black.

You might just discover what it’s like to stand out there in the world screaming out..

“I want to see restoration, regeneration, and the joy of connection (to the organism from which we came).

I want to see humans as nature in nature, doing what only they can do, with their uniquely human consciousness, guided by the feelings that flow through them.

I don’t want to see more division, between the wild and the modern-culture people.

I want to see all people no longer lost in the bardo, but alive with their hearts wide open and raw and connected to and listening to Gaia in the present!”

One of the first things that comes to mind when I think of Summer Camp “Giving Body and Roots to our Dreams” is Connection to the Earth. The topic came up when we were determining Songlines¹ and snowball goals. It was clear that Connecting to the Earth was obviously the second priority after the program we had to concoct on D-Day, for the residency outing.

One of the most common fears in the group, and one that came up again and again in connection with the messages delivered by Nature, was the fear of projecting our world onto the world around us: “What if I were the one telling myself stories about what the Earth is telling me? This legitimate concern — the fear of slipping between the real and the imaginary — can be the starting point of our investigations rather than the end: so I suggested we take it into account and immerse ourselves in nature to begin with.

We left on Thursday for Gourgue d’Asque, also known as “the little Amazon”, probably because of its mysterious and profoundly energetic nature. It’s a place where I’ve observed some very special energetic phenomena and had the impression of being “all over the world”, such is the diversity and power of life manifested in the forms, the diversity of species and the surprises that can await us at every turn: spotted salamanders emerging? Springs appearing beneath the rocks? Magnificent bathing spots? A certain excitement was palpable within the group, and a fierce desire to experiment was present as our day out approached.

Top start. We decide to leave in silence, despite the number of visitors to the site. I remember judging people in the past who didn’t answer me when I said “hello”: now I’m their exact mirror, and this time I’m the one who doesn’t say anything. Ordinary politeness has given way to experimentation. What happens when we are silent? The desire to communicate is different, our attention is different: all focused on the green of the moss and foliage, the grey of the rocks, the sounds of our walk and the pebbles crunching under our shoes.

Breathing.

The mountain trembles. Rocks emerge from between the trees. Panic-stricken fear for some running upstream. I stay and watch. I’m convinced there’s a message in this, so I pick up the pace as the fall is uncertain and coming our way. At a distance, the other part of the group had slowed down upstream. Maude says : “My body told me to slow down and I decided to listen to it”. “I was really scared,” says Ludivine, trying to calm down and breathe.

What did Gaia mean by this rock fall? “Why do you prioritize money over connection to the earth?” is the first thought that flies through my mind, still galvanized by the fear of the falling rocks. The energy flows through me at a high level, and clarity emerges in this message: it’s not me who’s making it up. The phrase comes up: “neither below nor above, but part of the ecosystem”, followed by “we’ve forgotten that we’re part of the ecosystem because we’ve decimated our biggest predators, yet we’re still mortal and interdependent on this ecosystem”.

Two people in the group have developed a clearer ability to connect with and receive messages from the Earth. By working on our intuition, by spending time experimenting over many years, we’ve developed a 6th sense: the muscle of our intuition vis-à-vis the natural elements. One of these tools, extremely simple, is to ask ourselves the question “What were you thinking just before you came across that animal or saw that sign?”. Clearly, before the rocks fell, I was thinking about money and the summer camp economy, because this is a subject that human groups can tend to relegate to the background because of resistance to modern culture’s irresponsible use of it for wealth-grabbing, egocentric or speculative purposes. The message is clear to me, as it is to Ludivine, who is still breathing, her heart throbbing from her run and her fear. “Nature is there to put you back on the right path“ is the message she picks up, in the sense of ”do now what’s important for you, not what’s urgent“ and ”it’s now, it’s your life”.

We resume our walk, shaken for some, revived for others, I have the impression that this “ordeal” has opened us up more, that we look with sharper, more precise eyes. We set off in search of a place to bathe in the river. As a group, we’ve decided it’s okay to bathe naked together. After a moment’s hesitation and the discovery that what is usually a very generous stream has almost dried up, we turn back and eventually find a basin to bathe in. There are a few passers-by on the other side, but our desire to taste the water is stronger. Strangely enough, the flow of passers-by stopped while we were bathing.

The water is cold, but that doesn’t stop us from tasting it, like a source of vitality that revives us and brings us closer together. The presence of our nakedness and this powerful, vibrant nature touches me, touches us: a feeling of fullness, of connection, of truth is palpable in our eyes, and the agility of our gestures, the gentleness of our movements is a consequence.

We head back to the parking lot to return to our cars. And we propose our intimate game created by Ludivine and myself: “What does potatoes feel?” Interaction begins, and the first card drawn for Gaïa is “How do you feel right now, with your 4 feelings: anger, fear, sadness and joy? Once again my body ‘clicks’ and points out Gaia’s anger that we Europeans spend more time doing accounting and business plans instead of being with the ferns, plants and trees. I’m angry too, but in a separate, distinct way: I hear her anger and feel angry about it.

On the way back, the discussion with Maude connects me to what Gaia is glad about: my project! She will testify through the mouths of our multiple companions that Gaïa has joy that we create projects that support ecology and that she is represented and alive through our projects. “But why really?” Maude’s questions bring me back to more precision every time: I’m doing my project for the Love of play and sincerity. I want to welcome people who want to play with sincerity to my Permaculture café in Bagnères de Bigorre.

On the way back to the car, a certain calm set in despite the side door that couldn’t open and the climbing of the front seats to sit down. As I chatted with my fellow passengers and pondered the questions posed to the Earth, the impression of equanimity emerged, along with sadness that humans were disconnected from Gaia and fear that she wasn’t listening and would have to express herself more forcefully, even if it meant shaking us up.

L’Autel en honneur à Gaïa was born of this first encounter at Gourgue d’Asque and the immersion that followed in the evening as we returned to Le Mélilot.

Another form of immersion, through the senses, is proposed.

We set off again, one blindfolded, the other guiding him as we descended into the forest, after a centering and grounding meditation guided by Paloma. The descent into the forest was carried out in silence, so that each of us could pick up in our own way the code of trust imprinted by the other’s hand on our shoulder, with gentle pressure giving direction.

The bursts of laughter, the unexpected, the invitation to taste nature with all 5 senses recreates an ineffable, unspeakable, subtle, real bond. Karin and Julien, still blindfolded, spray each other laughing. Karin’s hand meets another’s, as if wondering “whose is it? Many tasted raspberries, smelled flowers, touched leaves and tree bark, all the while getting used to a new balance with their eyes closed. There’s a kind of fulgurance that gives the connection to Nature something uncontrollable, immanent, real beyond the real. Reawakening our senses at the expense of sight, which tends to take up 80% of our attention, is one of the first steps.

Something unexpected happens on the way: a sheep gets stuck in the fence. Time to take care of the animal, and the walk resumes with murmurs and questions. The sound of the drum beckons us to the ‘Phénix’ space, named for its circle built around the fire. An intimate space, dedicated to relationships, which will ultimately serve to enliven our inner fire for Nature and Gaia.

Paloma reads us her text, inspired by her moments of connection and meditation with the place. “ … “. Inspired by Bùto, the Japanese art of disappearing into nature, and my connection to Auroville, as well as Mira Alfassa’s texts, regularly speaking to plants, animals and minerals, the whole world can be seen as “one communicating organ”, and joins certain Buddhist philosophies of “equanimity” (everything is right in the moment) and aboriginal cultures of “everything is interconnected, intertwined”.

The invitation is to disappear into nature. To leave and let ourselves be absorbed by nature. Unlike the focus of concentration, we use the focus (the energy body in Possibility Management) to dilute ourselves. “And what if you became nature?” says ‘The Mother’, as the Auroville Indians call her, in reference to her capacity to embrace Unconditional Love in action. The phrase comes back to me : “And if all your attention, all your presence were absorbed by a state of adoration of nature”.

Disappearance.

As I set up the fire, I testify to my difficulty in overcoming my emotional anger at finding myself faced with the uncontrollable: the forces of nature through the ewe trapped in the fence and my partner’s ability to be directive. The bonds we’ve forged upstream have a lot to do with this: I open up spontaneously to Paloma, expressing my pain at being under the expectation that “something bad is going to happen” or “that I’ve made a mistake”. “What do you need?” she asks. “I’m fine with making a fire. Touching twigs, getting back in touch with my physical body, with matter brings me back”. Click’ goes my energy body: it’s time to make fire for those who will reappear from the forest².

The physical body is fully utilized: I’m in touch with my sensations, listening to my beating heart, my muscular tensions and relaxations, the position of my skeleton.

The Mental Body is at the service of action or placidity: I’m not in the stories I tell myself, I’m thinking in relation to an action, whether it’s writing this article or calculating my next step, it’s connected to a Necessity to act.

The Emotional Body lets me feel the world, what I want, what I don’t want, why I feel anger, sadness, fear and joy.
The Energetic Body is focus, clarity, presence, precision of concentration, 100% here with its attention.

Connection to this Archetypal Body occurs once all the other bodies are open and connected: I feel fully invested in the mission entrusted to me. This state of full connection to all that surrounds me can be perceived in some incredibly lively animals. Have you ever observed the speed of the lizard? The lightning speed of a bird? The strange presence of the salamander?

Our enforested³ guests join us, following their instincts and the sound of the drum. The circle is open: we invite the intuitions gathered from each of them as they ‘disappear’.

A second obstacle looms in the silence: “Is Gaia’s message strong enough to be heard? I still remember the Mother’s message on this subject: “Everyone will be able to say ‘oh, this statement isn’t strong enough for me to prioritize it”.
If “everyone sees noon at his own door”, it’s unlikely in Western society that messages from the earth will be heard. And I’m not even talking about the sociopaths in power, disconnected from all common sense and with their heads buried in their business plans.
So it’s more than necessary to make room for the importance of the message itself, by sharing it. Did you imagine that messages from the Earth could nourish and embellish your project? That’s the plan we’ve made.
The 3rd obstacle on the horizon: the temptation to remain in the known and avoid the experience of the present moment. As the silence set in, the 3rd social taboo of Western society came back to my door: “no! silence is embarrassing”.

I think we’d bonded too much for that to happen. We had bonded enough. The silence was there. However, a tension persisted, pushing us to go further. The desire to bring in the inspiration of shamanism during this moment for Paloma and the desire to connect to our invented field for this event leads us both to say “no” one after the other. Like guardians of space, ready to defend it. A new, deeper silence emerges.
This final joust for silence has reached its goal. Despite the desire to fill the void, silence persists. A kind of indescribable sweetness flows through me. The embers gradually fade in intensity. That evening, I experienced a rare moment of plenitude and serenity. To have tasted such intimacy in a group after 7 days was a delicious moment of grace that I’ll never forget: a little like rain after a heatwave, a lull after a whirlwind, a space-time out of time.
‘Letting Gaia speak’ was celebrated the following day with the erection of an altar in her favor, as well as moments of silence again shared on the way out.

¹A ‘Songline’ is a sung itinerary in Australian Aboriginal culture, initiated by the ancestor of each tribe in the time of dream and creation, which enabled him to find his way. It is handed down from generation to generation. Each family has its own distinct song, so they can be recognized from one another. Only members of the same family sing this song. It is with this song that they find their bearings in space. The song also recounts the life of the ancestor in the original time of creation. “Aboriginal creation myths speak of legendary totemic beings who roamed the entire continent in the time of the dream. And it was by singing the names of everything they came across along the way — birds, animals, plants, rocks, waterholes — that they brought the world into existence “ (Summary and quotation marks from Bruce Chatwin’s Song of the Tracks). It’s also a way of life for a project, allowing us to remember and not forget any element, while leaving a creative, non-linear or unexpected part in the process, so as to leave room for the living.

²In Possibility Management, there is the 5 bodies distinction, with which the aborigines, where the inspiration for Permaculture and Dragon’s Dreaming comes from, are much more familiar. In “Mutant message down under”, Marlo Morgan talks about the ability of human beings, starting from nothing, to feel their way through the desert without starving. Unexpectedly, a tribe heads out, their senses alert and present, celebrating the discovery of long-awaited water. The practice of connecting with your archetypal body, also defined by a psychologist as ‘Flow’ in work teams or within yourself. Also some novels of Orson Scott Card depict other states of consciousness, like the encounter with the people of the Eartn Treason. These are interesting novels to get aquainted to.

Haven’t you though that things could be way more easy if relaxed and connected to the Universe? I do, because of that experiment. If you haven’t made experiments that prove you the contrary, it’s possible that you would judge this one.

I apologize for the sum of notes that comes along with this writing, though I think they are necessary to not confuse what I’m talking about with a fary tail.

Here we go, Archan Permaculture, zone -5¹ : connecting to Gaïa.

Here is a report of what happened during the creation and establishment of Bridge-House Art’chiarchy in matter, an Artistic and Personal Development residence that aimed to Create a new culture for striving on planet Earth, in France.

Prologue :

Ecco at work is the manifestation of a clear, simple and genuine desire that is rooted in matter. This is Creation with the universe. It is Innocence at work. A desire is stronger than a need that comes from the past or a wanting that comes from a childish unfulfilled part. A desire comes from getting out of the old map of fear, getting out of being baffled and stunned. A desire comes from a strong wave of energy, alive and pure, sustained by peace and a deep, fresh longing for a result of it with an arousal that naturally comes about the realization. It comes from a true and natural alignment of the 5 bodies (sense of Being).²

When the sky opened up — meaning that I’ve shifted my inner state to ‘Scar-city’ to ‘Synchroni-city’ — in my case the intention was clear, clean, precise and without hesitation. The project was big, and I realize I was big too, thanks to my fear.

In the process of growing a desire, of passing from a ‘wanting’ to a ‘desire’, there is an emancipation and an evolution that can be called a ripening process. The clouds must be torn away from your sky Thoughtware so that the Synchronicity with Ecco can be created again and originated from Brillant Love.

This ripening process is an initiation in itself. It requires a clear statement, a purpose (a deeper intention) and a settling into the 5 bodies (physical, mental, emotional, energetic and archetypal).

Many steps can be realised. I will share these points here as long as the following steps:

1. Verbalising

1.I verbalised the dream, I had to repeat the intention over and over again, with people 1 on 1 and with larger audiences. I checked and rechecked my dream. Getting feedback at this stage was not an option. We humans are very eager to create fantasy worlds: it is necessary to recognise the false joy, the merchandising, the childish longing for it. To be aware of self-manipulation is part of it, and a clear connection to reality through 5 bodies is at stake: no jokes.

In that case, to really feel the flow of it, it took me quite a few times, like 30 times and sharings to actually be with it fully. Still, a strange and familiar certainty was there with me, believing in my dream as if the dream was already part of the reality, as if the future was already there, like an embodied living vision.

I realize now that this is the spirit of a prayer. Not a twisted incantation of someone playing with reality, not a religious prayer, but rather a wish expressed to the universe with innocence and devotion. There are no words to express the Bright Principles — the Immanent Forces of Nature — that were channeled through my upper heart, right on top of it, in the region of the upper chest, like a blow of grace and blissful hope, played loudly.

Before the experiment even begin, I made an agreement with my Gremlin, this Archan guardian of my subtle underworld: a set of 3 signs confirms the answer of the Universe. In my case, the protocol is quite simple: 3 signs. A protocol is a clear agreement made before the signs actually happen in reality, so there is no cheating or deception possible. Then I checked if these 3 signs are in line with my 5 bodies. Is it a clear sign? A 100% “yes” from the universe, Gaïa?

For aborigenes, time is circular and not linear, and even more like a spiral, a clear intention set before can influence the future. As physics says, observation already changes the reality I observe. As an ethnologist who goes to a foreign culture, knowing that he will be part of a village and part of its own observation, therefore transforming the reality that he observes. Or as the aborigines say, the dream merges with reality, there is no separation. The dream is already part of reality, as a anchored desire does.

It is my responsibility to create the connection, the bridge. This protocol I created beforehand is the bridge to the clarity of the manifestation.

2. Sharing the dream

2.We started as a team to which I shared my vision. 5 in the beginning, Isabel, Oliver, Gabriela, Leonhard and myself. The team was deconstructed and reborn through the Laboratories of Possibilities in Poland. Eithne, Daphne, Gabriela, Leonhard and I (Gabriel) came together 2 weeks before the start of the experiment while we were still in the Labs refining the purpose of the experiment. Although we had quite a short time to do it, we decided to go with the flow and be open to all possibilities along the way.

I was worried about the timing.

3. Taking a clear decision by sourcing the true Necessity

3.To make this possible, I remembered the words of Diana Leafe Christian, a great source of inspiration and harvest in the field of Ecovillages (co-housing and communities mainly in the USA and around the world). She used to say that without a clear material place, people don’t commit, they abandon the project. So I knew with certainty that I had to find the place before we actually met in Poland in 2 weeks, otherwise the old map of fear, panic, scarcity, insecurity and the emotional buffer zone of fear would have buried the possibilities. That would have been a team that would have been stunned, flabbergasted, no longer desiring, and the project would have collapsed. I could already see people resigning and signing off one by one.

If the group is not strengthened by a larger vision that encompasses some very deep parts of our souls, it is the job of the instigator (in this case me) to bring forth ways of stabilizing the group and the project. A physical house was a Necessity — tampering with it was not an option.

4. Finding the physical place

4.We have gone through the process of making announcements with Air BnB and other websites [German one+Leboncoin+FB marketplace] to not find the place, unsuccessfully with the first team version.
When the first team disappeared and turned into another, smaller one, I knew it had to happen. That was the momentum. Either I fall into fear scarcity, disaster, a quagmire of resentment-shame-blame-deception, or I succeed. I decided to hold on and put more energy into my dream.

Abandonment is often due to self-abandonment and not wanting to invest more energy when the time is critical. So I decided to take a stand, even though the pressure was knocking at my door and tensions were building up.
I spoke to my friend and lover Ludivine who gave me another pathway.
She said, “What about contacting this website about swapping houses?”
I grumbled and mumbled for a while, saying to myself “well, it’s not what I expected and it won’t work…”, but given that I had the Gremlin distinction within me, I could catch my Gremlin and use this untapped resource that comes from unconscious anger. I used my anger to register. We were 2 days away from leaving for Poland and without a physical house to live in for a month. I was sweating.

If I didn’t have a physical house by the time I went to the labs in two days, I was pretty sure the Bridge-House project would collapse and end soon. Having nothing to chew on in a room where enthusiasm was clearly waning was reckless. So I put my Gremlin back on a leash and asked him for possibilities. He told me to “commit to what your partner is committing to”.
Knowing her and witnessing her blatant enthusiasm for the project gave me another resource. This, plus the revealed anger, helped me get through the doors and the many steps of registration, as there was quite a lot to do before I left. My fingers were sweaty and fidgety, shaking on the plastic keyboard of my computer. I searched for houses to swap near Bagnères de Bigorre.

I would say that having a clear time and place, as precise as possible, stopped the doubts and the unconscious will to destroy the project. It was Bagnères de Bigorre, not Toulouse, and not some remote place in the countryside. It was clearly a month. The intention was fixed and solid. It is also an act of precision and daring to say, arrogantly, simply what I want, no more, no less, this is what I want.

Fear helped me to consolidate my desire.

5. Ask the fear and tune into Archetypal Forces

5.In spite of my best efforts, and for no reason at all, while I was connecting to the many announces available in the area, the answers began to pour in. “No”, “No”, “No”, they all said. In spite of all these contradictory forces, an unbelievable force drove me to make another announcement in a local Whatsapp group of the town.

Without any expectation, and completely by surprise, someone replied. A house was available. A little smaller than I needed, but as none of the suggestions in the advertisements fitted, I decided to go and see it, 2 hours later on the spot.
On the way I had a clear feeling that this was the house, I didn’t know where this intuition came from and I rode my bike with excitement and awe. When I got there, the house next to it had one of my pseudonym written on the front. Very few people call me this way, only Mexican friends do, and they are the only ones allowed to. One of them, who pronounces this diminutive with this warm singing and distinctive accent, is Allan, a Reality Creator and magician who works on the Reality Creation Processes. I know him well.

This analogy let me smile and I came even more certain that something was currently saying “yes” to the proposal. Before entering the house, I noticed with my curiosity eye that the artistic outfit in the forefront, some details like the ways pebbles were disposed around plants and some messy natural way of putting things around let me think about something sensitive to Arts, I thought “I love that”.

2mn after I was stunned by a second sign. The symbol chosen for my Possibility Team in Bagnères de Bigorre was hanging from the central lamp of the living room. The symbol chosen for my possibility Team in Bagnères de Bigorre, where people meet regularly and commit to extraordinary times of transformation, each time driven by the unknown, was troning in front of my eyes: a hot-air balloon gently hanging in the middle of the room.

In awe of this second clear sign, I continued to talk to the owner of the house. “The house is ready for exchange,” she said. “It is a go for supporting your project of artistic and personal development residence” (as formulated in the announcements). “It is available for the times and dates and proposal of payment you proposed and we are ready to move into your apartment in exchange”. 3rd wave of “yes” and shock, something as unexpected as swapping houses only crossed my mind as a possibility when Ludivine told me with her natural enthusiasm about the Home Exchange website.

My box was totally expanded by this. I was liquid from that 3rd suggestion. I could hear voices shouting at me, “how could you do this?”, “you are taking a family’s house for some money!”, “this is not possible”. I took off my voice blaster from my energetic tool belt and shot them in anger. I was very liquid.

How could I have imagined that in a culture like the French, where the physical house is so important, such a trigger of security and representation of the family, that such a proposal would be possible? Finally it was, and at the very last possible moment, exactly 2 days before my departure. The project was honored and appreciated with this 3rd sign of ECCO.³

How could Gaïa not give me some clearer signs? Later, when I was in the Bridge House experiment itself, I learnt that the neighborhood was actually called ‘the bridge neighborhood’ because of a footbridge over the Adour river, which flows nearby. I continued to smile.

I showed the pictures of the house to my team and explained the process with ECCO, and the team said yes.

We went to the labs⁴, the team restructured. We arrived at the house one by one, first Leonhard, then Daphne and Gabriela. The owner left the day after we arrived and this allowed us to build connection and trust in an informal way. The space shifted.

Meanwhile, my lover installed 2mn by feet nearby the footbridge as she was looking for a home at this stage of her life and found a one month proposal nearby! As another reverence of life saying “your project is welcome”, my partner Lover lived on the other side of the footbridge and was willing to be part of the experiment as a visitor.

What more perfect organization could I have wished for? Everything was far more perfect than anything I could have expected, wanted or wished for.

Experiments and further inspirations:

Experiment 1: Smelling your dream

There you ask yourself:

-What do I feel? (anger/fear/sadness/joy because… while connecting to my heart)
-What do I smell? (not only from my nose but also from my intuition)
-What do I taste? (is there saliva in my mouth, coming from exitment)
-What do I touch? (is there something I have a grip on)
-What do I see? (also from a bigger and wider perspective, receiving feedbacks)
-What do I hear? (how does my desire sounds to my hears)

• etc.

Experiment 2: Verbalize the dream

Find a team from the beginning to get clarity about your dream. Talk about it with friends. Dreams are made to be woven, to be intertwined with others. We are not meant to be alone. The lone wolf strategy may be a useful Survival Strategy, but it is quite effective for the delusional. Every time I failed with my dream, it was because I failed with my Clarity and was afraid to get feedback! Go find your team. Check it out! Risk your dream. It is worth the reality check.

1. Say it out loud and feel it resonate in the air. What is the quality of the sound you are making? There may be some emotion in your statement, is it 100% anchored in your five bodies? You may feel a flow of Aliveness, Connection, Love and other Natural Forces of Nature flowing through you. If not, go to 2)

2. Pick up the phone or go to your neighbours. Tell them that you have a dream to share. Who are you going to reach out to? Someone you might know. It may already be time to choose your team to make your dream come true! You might have nothing, yet you have a finger with witch you can ring a bell.

Experiment 3: Give your desire a time and a place

What time commitment could you make to realise your dream in the matter? Stick to it no matter what. If you drop your dream, you let it go, it dies. The time commitment solidifies your dream, it gives it a GPS point through time. Be clear about the exact place (e.g. town, mountain, area), the duration (e.g. 1 month, 2 days, forever) and the exact start date and ending.
Why did you choose this particular place?
For example, why I originally decided to go to Bagnères de Bigorre and proposed it to the first group, is because this town is very energetic, at the gates of nature, natural springs, hot water, volcanic activity, a river and its banks surround the town, which is on a human scale, full of resources, 8000 inhabitants plus a super active community of associations, manifestations, spectacles, artists and healers — a remarkable environment with a thermal area dedicated to healing, the place naturally called us.

Make a list of what turns you on.

Ask your gremlin for possibilities or a friend to double-check.
Write in your Beep Book the protocol you’ve chosen for this reality check.

A community is an amount of people that decided consciously to share not only common values (Bright Principles) but also a set of rules and principles that allow them to grow together instead of creating silent wars and confusion.

Such a decision can be taken and honored if people have some basic distinctions. Here are 2 majors steps for creating clarity in community building.

1.Creating community with Resistance Decision Making and creating a clear space for logistics

Communities happens because of Clarity of choices and sensing the resistances of the group, each individual after another. The resistance decision making is one of them, and one of the most effective to tackle the issue of coming in a group with people we don’t know by first hand.

The fears rise up and a dense field of unexpressed feelings, emotions, strategies can be sensed by the most sensitive. This is normal in modern world — yet is it absolutly Necessary that it happen that way? I don’t think so. With resistance decision making, a safe place for the wisdom of resistance is honored and granted.

Here is a testimonial about an event that happened in Aotearoa (New Zealand) and gathered a large amount of people coming together to hold space for the Earth.

Another master piece of creation of the community happening is distinguishing the logistic spaces between the others. Here is what happened.

A few people commented on the feeling of community they experienced at the three day Growing Radicles training in March. I’m glad that people felt this, and it was not an accident.

Building community was part of the Intention, from the start. I asked Janet Redmond if she would be part of the event, and so glad she had a big Yes for it. We parked the camper on site the day before the event and when we woke in the wee hours of the morning, declared an energetic workspace around the land, before calling in the bright principles of Connection, Love, Simplicity, Clarity, Healing, in support of healthy and nourished people and people.

People began arriving around 8am on day one, and at 9:30am we gathered in the opening circle.

Janet and I held space for each and every person to share what had brought them to the event, and what gifts they were bringing. This was the watering of the community radicle (embryonic root of a seedling), inviting each person to take root and declare what was their verse, in the di-versity of the gathering.

The next piece of the community creation was the introduction of a proposal culture. When someone wanted to declare the time we would break for a meal, request the focus of the next piece of learning, or how to manage emptying of the humanure compost buckets, a proposal was put to the circle. Each proposal was followed by the question: Any resistance? Resistance was shown by displaying a number of fingers from 0–10 (where 10 is maximum resistance and 0 is no resistance).

Those with higher resistance were invited to share what their resistance was about, and so the wisdom of the crowd was invited into the space. A proposal could be changed until there was no resistance, or so little that those with any remaining resistance were able to accept it, and the group could move on.

Finally we landed the distinction between logistics and other conversations. Throughout the three days, any logistical conversations were attended to at the beginning of each session, honouring the primary intention of the three day training — learning the principles and practice of Syntropic Agroforestry. By the last day Sylvanis, 9 years of age and the youngest member of our community, held the space for the logistics conversations.

2.These are some of the steps which were made to set the scene and build the social systems that created a sense of community which lasted for the three days, and beyond.

2.Setting a Gameplan

A Gameplan has nothing to do with a strategy. A strategy is meant for marketers, planers not for creators, I mean Archetypal Creators — people with real agency to source their project, act directly on the spot, create favorable situation and a highly transformative culture.

A gameplan is something that happen if you let go of the “you should do” (even the ones that your best friends might create for you). A gameplan is your Being in action, in service to life and therefore, to greater good. A gameplan happen when you let the immanent forces of nature shine through you. This is ecstatic. Beware of the hangover!

A one year covenant in service to Gaia

Following on from the Growing Radicles event in March it has become increasingly clear that the land needs people. With too few people, growing food depends on machines and chemical inputs. With sufficient people collaboration with nature is possible and the result is abundance and healthy ecosystems.

140,000 hectares

New Zealand has 140,000 hectares of lifestyle blocks and small farms, situated between the urban and the large scale agriculture. These small farms change hands every 3.3 years on average, according to a NZ Herald article.

The potential of the land, and the dreams of each new owner, are often well beyond what is realised.

Buyers of these small blocks often struggle with the reality of life on the land, and having to deal with the wide range of tasks associated with care for animals and plants. Frequently one or more of the family ‘team’ have to engage in paid work off the land, in order to meet the mortgage repayments. Then they try to squeeze in all the farm’s needs after hours and on the weekends.

But a solution already exists in the form of an abundance of tiny house owners. Home ownership in NZ is at its lowest rate since 1951, and is expected to fall further. A 2010 government report found evidence of a structural shift — that younger people are less likely to achieve home ownership than ever before.

This expanding demographic is made up of people who have chosen not to complain about the inflated cost of owning a home, but have instead taken responsibility for it, within their means. However, their next step of finding a place to put their tiny house can be a challenge.

What an opportunity!

To marry the needs of these two demographics, those needing help on the land and those looking for a place to ‘land’.

Collaboration and social systems

Collaboration happens between people. And we do it well, or we do it badly. We either achieve our intentions, or fail to.

Sometimes a collaboration finds its wings, and despite struggles, continues and achieves more than it imagined! But sometimes a collaboration starts with a hiss and a roar, then fades as the realities hit!

If this is your situation, then you might be interested in what I have been researching with my partner, Janet Redmond.

We have found that what makes the difference is the presence or lack, of skills needed to articulate a shared intention, make clear agreements, and practise adult communication processes.

Fortunately these processes are learnable. The maps have been drawn, and once learnt they can be practised, until a new way of navigating the communications landscape becomes natural.

Janet and I are offering trainings for owners of land and owners of tiny houses. Over time and as needed, we will build a team to deliver these trainings and offer the ongoing support.

If you are looking to collaborate with others to benefit the land, this is for you.

Shared intention

In any land share collaboration it will be necessary to acknowledge that the land owner inherently has more power, and this could create challenging relationship dynamics.

We are looking for owners who are willing to put the matter of ownership to one side for a one year experiment. The legal structure wouldn’t change, but the focus is on ‘what does the land need?’.

This is a bold step, of people coming together in service of the Earth, of Gaia, to see the potential when people assume a level of radically responsible collaboration.

Legal agreements and radical responsibility

Imagine you’ve made an agreement and have engaged a lawyer to craft it into a legal document. Great, all is clear. Well, maybe. What happens when the other party doesn’t keep their end of the agreement as you understand it? Will you use the document as a weapon and threaten legal action, and let the lawyers fight it out for you. Maybe it even goes to court.

Feel the pain of this for a moment, and notice what’s happening.

You are no longer relating to the other party in the agreement, and have now given away your power and responsibility for the outcome, and put it in the hands of a third party. The lawyers or the judge in the court will end up making a ruling and both parties are expected to go along with it. You may or may not be happy with it, but almost certainly you won’t be sitting around with each other over a cup of tea.

Is there another way?

As the cornerstone of a collaboration we can co-create covenants / agreements that have sufficient clarity to be a starting point for dialogue when things are not going well. When disagreements arise we can call on our support team, to help us navigate communications, so that both sides are heard and felt. So we can discover the next collaborative step.

Imagine a one year covenant that can be updated by agreement, but that puts no obligation on either party beyond that term.

Communications processes and upcoming events

At the ongoing centre of any collaboration is communication. And communication can come in many different forms, and produce many different results.

The invitation is to learn and practise new communication skills, knowing you will not always get it right, but that you can periodically call on your support team and go again.

A intimacy game experiment to familiarize with feelings and coaching.

The Inner Permaculture game applied to oneself: “What does the potatoes feel?” continues to be tried out at festivals, at the Village de l’eau in Deux-Sèvres (79) and at the Festival des Oasis in Ariège (09).
The aim is simple: to reconnect people with their desire to reconnect.

Questions like:
“What makes you angry?”
“What allows you to carry your dream and make it happen?”
or “How do you connect with plants, trees, animals and the Earth?” are intimate questions that introduce us to the world of coaching and our invisible worlds.

If someone had told me ten years ago that I’d be a coach, I’d probably have laughed. And yet that’s what I am now.

Coaching enables each of us to master the art of questioning, to get involved on behalf of others, to develop empathy and to allow others to step out of their comfort zones. Through cards with involving questions, everyone — regardless of their path — can familiarize themselves with the practice of coaching in the service of a new culture (for those of you familiar with sports or corporate coaching, this has nothing to do with it).

Fortunately, life is full of surprises. While some of us — myself included — focus on the problems, we could also focus on the surprises, whatever they may be.

Today, I no longer limit myself, I assume my quality of transformer, of magician of the moment. There’s no longer the smoke of doubt, the razor of rationalization, nothing: I take action.

The invitation is the same throughout this game: to invite action, to involve the other person and yourself, to dare to ask dangerous questions that will lead to unexplored, unexpected conversations and… surprises.

A framework of consent is established, and facilitation depends on the individual. What’s going to happen? We’re now thinking about coaching cards to teach new facilitators to communicate directly, through feelings (the heart), rather than through the head (concepts, ideas).

The first step in this game is to go back to the first feelings: anger, fear, sadness, joy. The second step is to take the first step for the initiator of the game: to show ourselves as we are. A new culture cannot emerge without this step. Much will be determined by the first step!

It starts with: “I feel angry because…” instead of “I think that…”, while letting your voice vibrate to the sound of the feeling you’ve begun to share the cause of.

And what if this game — on an unreasonable scale, given the quality of the players’ involvement — were to bring about changes in communication, opening doors to new-found intimacy and unexpected authenticity?

That’s what this game is all about, bringing strangers together around a table or a stretch of road to exchange ideas and realize how extraordinarily compatible their perceptions are.

This game already invites and provokes change, and will you be part of it?

“What is your path with the way you feed yourself?” This apparently inoffensive question refers to a deeper way of relating to the world. Is it Scarcity or Connection and Creation that lead the dance of your life? Many people won’t go over the scarcity impulse, coming from the victim story that “I cannot do anything about it alone” as long with supermarket as an answer to it with its procession of invisible destructions.

“What does the potatoes feel?” is another way of saying it. If nature in itself had a voice, what would it says?

Are you ready to abandon the cult of loneliness and “I’m gonna do it alone” modern occidental mindset? The story about not having the power to do anything about something is a long term story that have irrigated slavery, allowed the domination of men upon women and the larger scale ecologic destruction of Planet Earth.

Are you believing your stories or are you willing to step into another way of relating to the world? This is what this article is about, as long with “what does the potatoes feel?” a reminder that nature feels, within us, whether ones likes it or not.

1. A local Market experiment in France, by Gabriel Lechemin

As the streets were freezing cold and rainy, a january day, the cold going through the layers of my jacket, I decided to wander, instead of staying in the place I use for my regular Possibility Menu. 9h30am, perfect time. I declared that“this is Possibility Menu!”, left home and head in the middle of the market, looking for some kind of ‘hot spot’ where to land the question.

C. and M. were there buying vegetables — I know them because we are on the same choir — and I started asking them.
Me: “what is your path with the way you feed yourself?”
C: “This is a spiritual path to me, when I was young my mother was healing me with the plants from the garden. When I had a sore throat, my mother was harvesting slugs and hanging them until the juice would fall into a glass. Then she was adding sugar to make a kind of syrup. When I drank it, the sore throat was immediately fading away in a couple of hours or at least a day.”
- “What led you to this spiritual path?”
- “We (both speaking alternatively) have always been involved in the environment, counting Milan eagles today, doing our garden. This is normal for us to make our garden, as nature is medicine and is healing us. It is the base from which emerges philosophy and then relationship, so we buy food from the local market, organic and we cultivate a small garden.”

Heading toward the bee keeper, I asked her the same question.
She answered “this is not my education, rather my life experience that drove me to consume local and organic food”

Most of the people in the market shared the same observation: “as health is the base, it is necessary to have access to good products”, some shared something about the quality, less food but in higher quality. Some other shared how they judge the quality with their eye, how vegetables, cheeses look, as the appearance determines where in comes from for a connoisseur.

After freezing more in the cold, I found out that the main feeling underneath changes in the habits of people regarding food is triggered by anger: refusal of Monsanto, big companies and a taste for vegetables that have a real flavor.

I felt a kind of relief about the level of consciousness shared there.

I was about to ask how they feel about their path, the last lady I questionned said “good” and shared an anger about the consumption going on and the satisfaction of living a simple life.

“What does the potatoes feel?” well, in that case: anger!

2. Be awareness in action and source food, Mexico, by Anton Henrich

An interview in Chiapas, Mexico, with an owner of a small Falafel Restaurant. This would seems very common, yet the person interviewed was able to share his feelings about this ‘disturbing’ question. Some might have let themselves be blocked by shame, guilt at realizing something fundamental about food.

Taking back your power means freeing yourself from shame, and first of all letting your heart speak. Will you do the same?

I started off with: “What’s your relation to Food?”
His answer was joyful and direct:
„It´s Love, Life and Passion for me.“
When I started to go a bit deeper and asked him if he knows where it comes from, he figured that he roughly knows from which state of Mexico his chickpeas come and the tahin that comes from his ex mother-in-law. The rest of the stuff comes from big supermarkets. He doesn’t know where the veggies actually come from but he knows the young men who deliver them right to the restaurant since they were children.

“I’ve never thought about who is producing my food.” he said with some sadness in his voice. “ I should know where it comes from.“ he continued. After a moment reflecting on this, he starts to find reasons why he doesn’t know the hands his food goes through before he turns it into delicious but probably not very nutritious meals. „You know,“ he says: “The chain is so long that it’s very difficult for me to put myself into it. I wish people would just come to my front door to deliver their own products to me. Or have a system that is very transparent and trustworthy.“

What I learned from my discoveries:
The pressure my friend and other people ‘have to make money’ and their survival strategies hold them back to find out what has happened to the food before it comes to them.
Even though a part of my friend wants to know where it comes from it takes too much effort to do . His preferences to spend his time on other things are not letting him take the steps necessary to get clarity on where his food comes from.
For him there would have to be a supply system that delivers the food right to his restaurant. I know that there are possibilities that he could get his vegetables delivered from a close and organically working supplier. He might not know this information and he might fear that his product would become less affordable to his clients.

My questions are now:
-What is holding you back from looking for already existing local, organic producers to get supplies from them?
-What’s the purpose for you to sell food? Is it survival or a higher purpose or maybe both?

Modern culture has disconnected people so much from their foods and amongst them also the actual physical food. Nowadays we have almost all food produced in an industrial manner amongst this also the organic food. As modern culture is about surviving instead of living, food became a means to survival and therefore it doesn’t matter where it comes from or how it’s getting produced. Though when the culture is about living also the path of food and its production could become alive and serving life.
In the modern permaculture movement and also the regenerative agriculture movement people start to care about the aliveness and the holistic food production. On the other side I don’t see how this movement can grow and browden so the majority starts to prioritize alive food over industrial survival food.
Therefore the combination of regenerative work with the soil, the land and the global ecosystem for food production with an alternative culture that is about living rather than survival is fundamental to maintain an ecosystem that is supporting humans.
Most people in survival mode will not stop consuming industrial food which is destroying our ecosystem. A new culture is more than ever necessary to bear the level of responsibility us humans are meant for.
To support the new culture to come, alive food is necessary to make it thrive.

3. Food and health, by James Andrews

I found myself in conversation, and was about to leave when I remembered my intention to explore this question. So asked : “How do you relate to food?”

At first a humorous reply, I love it!

I held the space, and watched it flow.

She very soon began to describe her discovery of the link between health and the food she was eating. And how industrial food was causing illness through adulterated products. When she discovered natural food sourced directly from the plants, And having overcome her fear of certain foods that she knew she reacted to, she tried them and found there was no reaction. This was the wake up call.

Then she went onto describe projects she’s involved with, helping people grow food in her community and how so many people have been helping and providing their energy and resources to these projects. This reinforced what I already knew, that food production harvesting, cooking and sharing is like a pivot point around which we can dance.

“What does the potatoes feel?”, they feel joy!

4. Are you ready for an experiment?

As you might not be anymore inclined to denial after reading this, therefore I invite you for an experiment.

For one week, organize yourself as you know excatly where your food comes from. You have no excuses anymore for not knowing.

Here are some comon ways that can help you with this:
-CSAs, Community Supported Agriculture
-Local Market with direct producers
-growing your garden
-exchanging products with other gardeners and producers
-being part of a buying cooperative

Alternatively, you can ask yourself, if you want more spice:

It all started with an experiment distilled in our Amoeba Cell, as we name it — a bunch of crazy people from all over the world, gathering in the Purpose of expanding the Thoughtware of next Permaculture, Archan Permaculture.

Hint: this is not about gardening, and it starts with inner gardening and at the end, connects to being Earth Stewards. This is not gardening with beds we talk about mostly, rather how we come alive to life and expands our Possibilities to regenerate humans and the Earth.

Another kind of Permaculture is growing from within, inwardly, from the inside: the inner ecosystem, named the Being, that every human is in relation to, yet use differently, depending on which thought system they operate with.
Human being are not destructive by nature, they do if they have not been initiated to Adulthood. Another culture, radically responsible is possible right now.

In this article, two actions leading both to the synergy of inner and outer permaculture.
One apparently birthing from outside, the permanent food forest and syntropic agroforestry system leading to more connections and distinctions (including low drama triangle and the place given by people to it in their life), in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
The other one apparently taking its source from within: the feelings of people with a Possibility Menu named ‘Inner Permaculture Intimacy Game’ that sprouted with an original question “what is your path with the way you feed yourself?” an experiment going along with a Possibility Menu in the market town of the Pyrenees, France.

Two moves, that describes what is really happening in Archan Permaculture Gameworld: from outer to inner and from inner to outer. Like a moebius ring doubled with infinity matching each other around a tree full of life.

Growing Radicles, by James Samuel

Syntropic Agroforestry is a unique expression of a natural system evolving conscious, intentional human interventions, from a place where humans recognise themselves as part of, not apart from nature.

Legends are the stories a community chooses consciously, in order to build matrix for change. This is my telling of the legends of this event, to celebrate the changes I notice, in a way you can pick up and share.

On Friday 22nd of March 2024, 30 people gathered at a beautiful location in Golden Bay (NZ), for Growing Radicles, a three day exchange of ideas, knowledge, experience and wisdom on the topic of Syntropic food and social systems.

A radicle, is the embryonic stage of a plant root. The first organ to appear and anchor the plant so it can absorb water and nutrients from the soil, and in this event people came together to put down roots for a different way of sourcing food.

Village Happening

This event was made possible by the contributions of many people!

Firstly, Gabriel Millinger coached me and held space artfully for all my feelings, and over many months, so I could discover the gameworld I want to co-create with others. He helped me re-find what I care about: Embracing diversity and ways of sourcing food so nature (including humans) can flourish.

Reggie Luedtke is Kaitiaki (guardian) of the land, and had a big yes for hosting this training on this land. It would be the first event there, and how appropriate.

Janet Redmond, reminded me of the passion I have held for this life work, and supported me at every step, by holding space as fear, anger, sadness and joy would bubble up along the way. The human social systems spaces that were woven through the event, carried the growing radicles village to another place.

I found an email address for Byron (Grows) Birss, and sent a message with the subject: Syntropic Food and Social Systems — Are you in? and the poster (but no other words) in the body of the message. His yes! came within hours, even though we’d had no previous contact. His space holding and landing of the principles of Syntropic Agroforestry was combined with gently holding back those of us, including me, who were itching from the start to get tools in hand and begin the physical work.

Joel Briffault from Crafted Earth brought so much to this event. The abundance of plants was astounding, and his propagation and soil knowledge and experience shared with passion, humour and humility, was pure gold. After some apprehension about presenting to a larger group, Joel realised “I’m made for this!”. Many people expressed looking forward to learning more from this community treasure.

Sharing resources skills and knowledge, together we achieved so much in so little time. I can only imagine how much a community could achieve if they were able to do this every weekend.” — Duncan Mackintosh

Saci Reilly-Jasper showed up unexpectedly to the first face to face meeting, like an angel from heaven. She had recently returned from Brazil, where she’d been learning about Syntropic Agroforestry. Her persistence in the planning and sourcing of fruit and support species trees was crucial. She will be key in the ongoing maintenance of this experimental installation.

The wider village stepped up and had a yes for helping with food to sustain us, for promoting the event to their networks, and to providing plants, seeds, equipment and tools we would need. In the closing days before the event, the sadness often leaked from my eyes as I opened to receive the abundance of support.

Irene Hubers’ steady and unwavering attention to keeping the food flowing, out of a makeshift camp kitchen, belied her fears of being able to cater for such a group, and resulted in her discovering joy for this role.

Process based vs input based

While it took several hours of discovery, when the principle landed it was not about to be forgotten. Without machinery, fertilisers, pesticides, insecticides, water, and more, most of the conventional or industrial agriculture would simply grind to a halt. These inputs are required to counter nature’s inherent impulse to return (albeit slowly) to a diverse forest ecosystem.

In contrast Syntropic Agroforestry’s primary input is human, that support natural processes. By applying conscious interventions, we can fast track and support nature’s ability to heal, through succession, and create a diverse and abundant ecosystem.

The Drama Triangle

Saturday night, following the late afternoon physical work and dinner, Janet delivered an exploration into the drama triangle, or how we get into the swamp and how to get out of it. There was much laughter as people recognised how it went in their lives, and then respect and stillness as one person after another let their vulnerability be present. When we broke into groups, eight year old Sylvanis articulated very clearly how he moves from victim to persecutor to rescuer.

Establishing the radicle

Finally on the last day, we got down and dirty.

Some mulched material that kept getting cut from around the edges of the area we had defined. Others started to clear away the grass. A lot of chainsaw work resulted in volumes of logs that were subsequently buried under mulch that formed the paths.

The plants were put in and the wood and mulch applied all in the last three hours!

A radicle for Syntropic Agroforestry in Golden Bay is now established.

It is in the ground, it has a place, people can come and see it, can watch it grow, and go away and make their own experiments to Syntropic Agroforestry can scale from here through replication, tapping into the experience and knowledge, and by propagating plant material from this one to feed the next.

Inner Permaculture Intimacy Game, by Gabriel Lechemin and Ludivine Thiburs

From the start, and still now, we both don’t know what is happening with this game and how fast it has been shared amongts people from our local town. We both don’t know what is our next move, yet, an ecstasy happen with fear each time we hold space for this game inspired by the Possibility Menu and “How does the potatoes feel” experiment. A sense of simplicity and a joy of finding gold into human interaction, letting space for the Extraordinary to happen.

A legend is a summary of something that happen and is many time to complex to be shared linearly, otherwise it will take ages to transmit. The form it takes is generally linked to a mystery, taking shape in poetry, actual myth that depict what happen like a metaphor. Ideas therefore spread like a fire, waiting to be spread like a cultural virus.

We both witness that fire in action.

After holding space for a couple of Possibility Menus in our local town of Bagnères de Bigorre, since the start of Art’chiarchy Bridge-House we blended that experiment with “how does the potatoes feel” experiment: Inner Permaculture Intimacy Game was born.

The purpose of this game is to connect people to their feelings. 4 cards with 4 different topics are represented: Connection, Important, Unknown, and Opening. This 4 directions are thought to open the 4 feelings from Possibility Management, a Gameworld that originated Archan Permaculture.

At first sight, some questions arise like, “Ow, inner gardening, yes I love it! And, what am I supposed to do?”

The pannel is attracting many people, yes it works, first feedback: “go!”. One of the first question we ask is “do you want to pick up a card and play this game?”
- Yes, what is it about?
-It’s an initmate game about Inner Permaculture, do you want to play? (In that gameword)
As the person generally jump in with fear, she’s asking:
“Am I supposed to read it to myself and then anwser?”
-I propose you to read you the question and then you answer, do you agree?”
And on and on…

I feel joy that people are curious and that the cards creates a bridge to non-material value. After many atemps, we found out that the Possibility Menu requires such a leap in the Unknown that many are not ready (because of the fears) to jump in. With the cards the idea of having Possibilities becomes accessible, visible, touchable.

Archiarchy

Archiarchy is the next culture, the culture that regenerates Planet Earth through the power of authentically initiated humans into adulthood that have shifted their point of origin to Radical Responsibility. This is a culture where the Invisible Value is the source that flows to empower inner and outer transformation.

Archan Permaculture

Permaculture in its very first version provided tools and maps for regeneration of the Earth, Archan Permaculture is providing evolution for human life collaboration, deep trust, love, art, healing, with the tools of Permaculture land design and management and the thoughtware of Possibility Management.

Archan Permaculture is the complete recentering of your relationship to the Earth. Although Permaculture has made huge leaps in how western civilization uses land and resources, the gameworld does not include upgraded thoughtware, consequently Gaia is still “a resource to be managed”. The initiation processes necessary for humans to go through and jack in their inner resources to bring them into intimate contact with outer resources including the physical, emotional, intellectuel, energetic and archetypal bodies are not offered through Permaculture. These are provided through that of Archan Permaculture. Meaning something far closer to reality it possible…

To think that reality is ‘what is’ would be truly naive. Even physicists consider this view to be obsolete, just as Plato’s cave and Buddhist philosophy considered it long ago. No, reality is perceived through a filter, sometimes called ‘ego’, worldview, culture, concepts… not to name it in general, a filter through which reality is seen through the lenses of those who see. If you believe that reality is ‘what is’, you are probably seeing the world through your lenses, your box (a collection of choices you have made about reality that is not reality).

The particular view that considers that mankind should dominate nature is obsolete. This view assumes that humans are above the rest of nature, superior, and that since we are top of the food chain, the land and its resources are ours for the taking. It is a cruel relationship, flavored by disregard for the natural state of any given area. It is the idea that because the land is there and I exist on top of it, it should give me what I want. It is exploitative, hierarchical, and deeply violent.

To truly practice Permaculture, you must recognize that the land is not inanimate, but deeply alive. It has needs and wants that may be counter to yours, just like any other person you love. It is recognizing that you cannot change the needs and wants of the earth any more than you can change the needs and wants of a person. Archan Permaculture is completely changing your relationship to the Earth. It is realizing that you are not the boss of the land, but that you are a son or a daughter of it. Would you treat your mother the way you treat the land around you?

Permaculture is a set of practices that strive to give the earth what she needs and wants, so that we may all in the end celebrate the bounty of what she produces. To engage with Archan Permaculture is to exit the exploitative fantasy land in regard to the earth and humans, living and working with ‘what is’ and not what we imagine could be or determine with self-interest.

Archan Permaculture is inner and outer design process, resulting from aliveness in the 5 bodies to be a guardian, possibilitator and a regenerator of planet Earth. An Archan Permaculture place is connected to a Bridge-House that uses Torus technology, 3 Phases Healing and Memetic Engineering. It is an emerging network of Bridge-houses and research centers all over the world.

Archan Permaculture is a living Creation (design) embedded in permanent feedback with life. It is applied to inner and outer gardens, the human ones, the natural ones and the interactions between the two: the world and how humans relate to it.

Archan Permaculture is the feel of wild grass under your hands high up in a mountainside. It is knowing that Gaïa is no fool, and that the internal gardens (your self-engineering and re-creation process) mirror the needs of the external. Archan Permaculture is seeing the world as it currently exists and stepping aside into a bubble of a new world that is just beginning to be formed.

Archan Permaculture is planting seeds of a new culture within the soil of new evolutionary thoughtware.

Archan Permaculture is the kind of permaculture that Archans do.

What Archans do?

For the human organism there is more to it than taking on a role as a worm does or a bird does or a goat does and fulfilling that ecological role by eating and pooing and scratching and incidentally or instinctively perhaps nurturing life around them as they go. We humans have our foundational food in, shit out cycle as well as needs for air, water, comfort and community. When we meet these needs while supporting other life we are in line with our traditional indigenous cultural role. Then there is also another level that exists now and was perhaps always there to an extent, but especially now with human capacities amplified to touch all corners of the earth, the human organism also has another facet to its role which goes beyond the traditional one.

This newer role is that of global gardeners, not in the sense of growing gardens all over the world, but in the sense of being a steward, tending and cultivating life on earth. In this role we repair wetlands and waterways, care for other species directly and for their habitats, enabling, fostering and catalyzing the conditions for life to thrive… for we can not manufacture life like we can make cars, what we can do is draw it forth and give shape to human systems that at the very least do no harm and preferably benefit life in multiple ways, spiraling off simultaneously in all directions. Part of being effective global gardeners is to create and occupy a culture that makes this kind of gardening inevitable and central, rather than some marginal, fringe activity.
